So with the purchase of a new machine I am looking for the consumables to have a look at starting further practice.
I have some questions that may seem simple and basic but can't seem to find the simple definitive answers.
I have dc welder for steel and stainless
And now ac/dc for alloy and silicone.
I'm going to get some 5356 alloy rods on order as well as some silicone bronze for practice. Thinking 2.4mm for the alloy just to learn with.
As for tungsten sizes, I have purple 1.6mm and 2.4mm so have the options there so far so will go from 40amp through to approx 150amp which I think is enough for me to learn.
I have seen an old thread from @Richard. Where he converted a torch to super short shroud etc. I have a cheap stubbie kit to put on my r-tech dc, but think that the parweld ac/dc has a wp26 so would that be the same kit or a different one?
Is there anything else which would be benificial? As would like to get it on order for some practice next weekend.
