Fuel pressure regulator?
Last two major projects for me at home have been fitting a gearbox that didn't fit to our family car (Mk2 Kuga) and my Mk2 Golf.
I had no choice not doing the Kuga as my wife needed it for work so that was a month of nights and weekends to get done (custom bellhousing brackets and the rest).
The Golf would still be on chassis trolleys if it wasn't for my two children giving me a hand / motivation to finish it.
If it's genuinely getting you down shelve it imho.
Work is unusually different, I can quite happily plug away for days / weeks on end and just get stuff out of the door.

It doesn't have one
It's like fuel pump never goes off .
Plus I've heard it going under load today.
I have to study why because I'm so tired of it and I'm not going to let it win this battle it's already a challenge with myself

I keep nibbling away at my projects, recently boxed up/labelled most of them so I can spend an hour or two on them when possible and put them back in the rack.Tripping over this stuff was wearing me out.

Indeed, but once all your dreams have come true, all that remain are your
nightmares...I remembered last night - when we moved here 25 yrs ago I bought a 400bhp rolling road. It's fixed in the floor, waiting, allong with my H&F dpx2 engine dyno which is on it's RSJ stand, patiently waiting as well. crikey, need to make some room...
