So I've had a big(ish) CNC milling machine in the workshop for quite a while, and I have done bits and pieces to it in that time, to the point it now has a full set of new servos mounted on it, and mostly only really needs the electrical side done.
However the main driver to lack of progress, is the fact I don't really have a use for it as such.
It would be handy for the occasional job, but given anything I make currently is generally smaller parts which I can do on my little mill, I don't see me having any real use for it.
Now the problem is it's currently wedged in it's position by the CNC lathe, so extracting it won't be an easy job (not that moving a 1500kg lump of Japanese iron is easy on it's own!), as the CNC lathe needs swung around to get enough clearance to get it out, and I just can't quite commit to that at the moment.
So at what point do you give up on a project?
