any tips for getting bushes out of wishbones?

tried heat burning press bloody stubborn bushes these are going drill the next one i think.

Maybe heat then press it out?

any tips greatly appreciated

If all else fails wait until the neighbours hang out the washing or are having a barbie and torch them, when the rubber drops out cut the steel band out with a hacksaw or air chisel.

problem is i need to re use the steel outer for the new poly bushes, I burnt one out already burs for ages! pressed another out too some effort was thining burn them a bit then press them whilst they are still hot

i have got new wishbones but they dont come with poly bushes so the old ones will get a refurb with the poly bushes for the other truck

hacksaw through as stated ,carefull not to go to far, this allows steel outer to contract enabling you to drift it out.

I push out the middle with a big C clamp.

Hammer in a chisel.

Job done.

If they are similar to the pics kindly put on by race diagnostics, if a hammer and chisel/drift wont work, hack saw threw the middle down threw the outer metal sleave then drift, only thing is you will need to buy new bushes.

What car is it? Has the component been removed? Have you got a picture of the bush?

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but if you're replacing with poly and need to keep the outer ring of the bush then it can stay in place as you only need to remove the old rubber?
