Just be patient with it, as frustrating as it is you don't want to cut into the component, cut a bit, chisel it, cut a bit more chisel again until you get there.

thats tomorrows job a few cuts in the top if i can get the hacksaw in there

heat it and try melting a candle into where the 2 meet, it might work its way down and let them come apart

I heated it loads and sprayed atf acetone mix in it a few times its soaking now might be magic in the morning

Powerflex give you a sachet but copper is fine.

Powerless stopped supplying copper grease because of problems of it drying out. Mine did and they sent me a new set no quibble with the new grease. I will post up the message from them
in a week when I get back from kitzbuhel.

on the second pic it looks like you are taking it out from the wrong end?? as the end is folded over or looks to be as half of it is chopped through, either way that doesnt look right some how. as the sleeve seems to be way to thick? Like snoops said it needs more than one cut and peel out in strips,good luck and wear heavy duty gloves!

I would be surprised if they every supplied true copper grease as the lube on a synthetic rubber bush. I would have thought it would always be a polymer/rubber friendly lube. Powerflex only supply polymer/rubber friendly lube now and I would advise using something similar. It's not hard to get hold of.

even these cheaper poly bushes come with a polymer sachet
