I'll run 6mm from the CU to the socket. Mainy because I got no 4 mm in the workshop at the moment.Mild difference in cable price though. 4mm2 for 30 amp.

I just got a flow meter for £11 feels like a no brainer?Ok, 2 more here.
1. How important is a flow meter?
2. I've read that for mild steel you need A15 rods but I also see A18 being advertised as Tig rods.
Where please, I need one.I just got a flow meter for £11 feels like a no brainer?
As in a spool? For mild steel mig wire works.
Yep, you can twist it together if it's too thin.As in a spool?
Where please, I need one.

Which one is best suited to Tig?Not used it yet(waiting for gas) but looks fine...
I’m also new to welding, but I can’t see why this wouldn’t work for any type of gas welding...it ultimately tells you how much gas is flowing...Which one is best suited to Tig?
I meant which one as in 0-14 or 0-25I’m also new to welding, but I can’t see why this wouldn’t work for any type of gas welding...it ultimately tells you how much gas is flowing...
I got the 0-25 so it would work for any use, I’m not sure why you’d bother with the 0-14...I meant which one as in 0-14 or 0-25
I imagine i'll be welding everything not nailed down, then I'll weld the nails. You will go through a 20l fairly quickly learning as can be addictive.
