yeah, i see most youtubers quoting 1.6mm preference. what are the benefits do you think of a 2.4?Adequate gas coverage for the part your welding.
Most normal steel and alloy I do with a 7.
Stainless I go to a 8-10 just because I try to get greater coverage.
I also weld everything from 5amps to 200 with a 2.4mm tungsten.
Where most people would use a 1.6
How long should a tungsten last in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing?
