don't mention bison glue to meI would try a two part Bison polyurethane adhesive, its available in small size packs & will stick just about anything. I used some a couple of years ago to glue a plastic part subject to oil & vibration & it stuck like the proverbial to a blanket.
A guy in the club bought a car that had had the fuel sender sealed into the tank with silicone sealant - he removed it but would still have to spend the odd day removing "gorilla snot" from the fuel system for quite some time.silicone breaks down with fueland goes all squishy then try cleaning it out of your carburettors . been there and done it
don't mention bison glue to meonce glued the rubber manifolds to the metal flanges on the carburettors of my microlite supposedly the rubber to metal stuff. took off out of a field and got to 200 foot and the bloody carbs fell off
