I remember Roarin Rat was the front cover and centrefold car in an issue of Custom Car in the early 70's. (I think) It was taller and had more chrome back then and it had a naked lady on the bonnet, (a real one). The '57 Bell Air coupe has been my favourite car ever since that issue.

hi mr lang,awesome build and skills,just read over 3days,i now tempted to buy a tig,already mig/arc and oxy acet in work(mostly do mot test) lol,
how do u stand legally on running slick tyres and did you have to have an sva/iva test?

I don't run slicks, and sorry but I don't talk about legislation on an open forum, you can PM if you wish, cheers

Been working on another project last few days but kept thinking something was missing on my firewall gauges, then I had an eureka moment and it came to me in a flash

They needed a frame to set them off, so over the weekend I plasma ed some more aluminium, i'm happy now

You should have cut wee holes in the top plate to echo the interior on the seat frames and battery box.

I wondered what had happened, but I couldn't remember seeing a final, completed picture of the car from this thread so you got me wondering if it was still a work in progress, now I need to look through this thread for completed build pictures.
