I remember Roarin Rat was the front cover and centrefold car in an issue of Custom Car in the early 70's. (I think) It was taller and had more chrome back then and it had a naked lady on the bonnet, (a real one). The '57 Bell Air coupe has been my favourite car ever since that issue.
You certainly are Dave
Feeling dead chuffed this morning as I got invited to take my Willys gas coupe to display and run at Goodwood
That is impressive.

Been working on another project last few days but kept thinking something was missing on my firewall gauges, then I had an eureka moment and it came to me in a flash They needed a frame to set them off, so over the weekend I plasma ed some more aluminium, i'm happy now
Lovely Steve as usual.
You should have cut wee holes in the top plate to echo the interior on the seat frames and battery box.
ooh that does look a bit sexy Steve
I marked it out but thought it to be too much
Yeah I thought so too, I'm happier now little things like that really bug me
The sorry was in case it was an idea you'd have to try; shoulda known you'd of thought of it already

I wondered what had happened, but I couldn't remember seeing a final, completed picture of the car from this thread so you got me wondering if it was still a work in progress, now I need to look through this thread for completed build pictures.
