I think the prop assembly is the same for all except the 2.5L V6 version.God, yes please, if it's a freelancer 1 2.0 diesel, with an autobox, that would be a miracle, much appreciated.

Good to know, even on 3 and 5 door variants ?I think the prop assembly is the same for all except the 2.5L V6 version.
Could also be a driveshaft.Quite possibly wheel balancing. 40 mph and multiples thereof....
No, I put a wheel back on with a dugga dugga gun, and didn't properly tighten it, stupid mistake. I'm well capable of silliness like that.Could also be a driveshaft.
Uhh, don't go there, I've recently, this weekend, had really, really, monumentally bad food poisoning.Have you got the Hedgehog transporter on the road yet?
(or is there a table stuck in the back ... )
couldn't find a towing point on the back, attached to an exhaust anchor point, said drive really gently, promptly nearly ripped off rear silencer,

I drove to work fine last day last week, driving home the auto gearbox started playing up majorly. Eventually crawled up the big hill, maybe 1st and 2nd working, pulled over at the top, chucked more ATF in it, thinking it was maybe lacking, another mile later lost all forward drive. Pulled in, off the road on dodgy bends, climbed under, unscrewed level plug, probably half a pint came out. Still wouldn't go forward. Phoned wife, who never has phone reception, then emailed her, I was literally a mile or so from home.
She phoned me back, bought the Pug and a ratchet strap, couldn't find a towing point on the back, attached to an exhaust anchor point, said drive really gently, promptly nearly ripped off rear silencer, car sounds like a tank, etc, got home....
Day off, you tube vids, wiring diagrams, pulled apart connectors, found transmission control module, lots of ohm testing, think it's a connective issue between auto box, connectors and control module...
Then it all started working again....
Go on ask me how last week's MOT, went if you really fancy a laugh....
I'll open another beer.
So generally, not fantastically great sadly.
Ooh la, you crazy munchkin.Sorry to hear that you've not been well.
You're still in the period of getting it working reliably after the neglect the previous owner had given it.
PM if there is anything I can do to help get parts to you.
It could be worse - you might have bought this![]()
Not made my mind up yet.Ooh la, you crazy munchkin.
You've cheered me up, is that a rebuild, or for bits ?
Depending on how much it cost you, it may be worth it for the DVLA paperwork and chassis Id tabs, an all that ???Not made my mind up yet.
I can leave it where it is for about a year as part of the deal.
The bulkhead is dead, needs doors as well.
I worked on it many years ago, chassis was surprisingly good then.
When I get around to having a good look over it I may just decide to sell it as is.
It can join this one in the queue ...

(Note brush on seatbox ready to sweep up the chassis).
It would be hard work to make a lose, selling it as it stands right now...Depending on how much it cost you, it may be worth it for the DVLA paperwork and chassis Id tabs, an all that ???
If the chassis is sound, and the motor and transmission runs, depending on what you paid for it, and you have the bonafide paperwork, you're quids in. But I've no clue frankly, done up that's worth a good price*.Not made my mind up yet.
