I should have taken a before photo: rest of the Saab is in my father's shed and I took 5 trailer/landy loads to the tip. That's a depressingly well-organised work space.
Funny enough I got hell from the wife when she came home and saw the car in the shedGlad you are back working on the SAAB, hope you are recovering well after the op.

Cheers, am back to doing the heads, just about finished porting. Been a difficult year: heart surgery last year, then watch and with with cancer: am now a couple of sessions into 6 months of chemotherapy which seems to have slowed me down a bit..... though recently picked up a shrinker/stretcher to help with the bodywork.@Rannsachair have you got any further on this?
Looks great so far

Cheers @ronan it looks like the chemo is working: the visible tumours have shrunk 80% already, I get a scan after next weeks chemo to confirm how it is doing on the largest tumours on my spleen and bowel. I like to be on the go all the time and am usually fine with 6 hours sleep, I seem a lot more tired and can sleep for 9 hours now!Sorry to hear you are in the wars, you kept that to yourself. Hope you are on the mend.
Jesus fella i never knew you where going through all that stuff...it sounds like you have it kicked into the dirt and i wish you a speedy recovery back to full fitnessCheers @ronan it looks like the chemo is working: the visible tumours have shrunk 80% already, I get a scan after next weeks chemo to confirm how it is doing on the largest tumours on my spleen and bowel. Your right matey once people have joined our club the focus on life stuff completely changes. Iff it does ever grow back in the future there is a very good chance there will be more advanced drugs to keep going so its not as bleak as people think....Being completely open and positive really helped me when i received the fun news in 2015 and ive tried to keep the same attitude since and do what i have always did, well within reason. You have my best wishes and admiration going through that nasty Chemo stuff so good luckCheers guys, I am hopeful: the cancer is not curable but the idea is to shrink it down with chemo then fingers crossed i will get a good few years remission before it grows back. Does make you focus on whats important in life: family, friends and quality time - which for me is in the garage working on bikes, cars, on the lathe or the welder. Unfortunately the chemo has been knocking me for 6, have had to take time of work and when too tired/sick to potter I end up buying more tools on the internet......
