Late 2021/early 2022 seemed to be a high time for prices, up to 199.9 in June 2022. That might have been super unleaded, but it started dropping back down again a month or two later.

That was the year we saw diesel at 229.9 in Broughton on the Blean in Kent. Couldn't understand why anyone would buy it at that price.

Around that time I was travelling from London to Yorkshire regularly in my xc70...petrol 2.5 turbo with the aerodynamics of a breeze block!

Dozens of trips...think it was £1.80+ for unleaded...quite painful!

Just put £30 in at £1.99 (Frome)
Didn't even turn the low fuel warning off!

I've seen diesel at £1.63 and £1.89 within a mile of each other today.

Its going up rapidly. Upto 142 today and I predict 150 this week in a good area, 160+ in other areas.

Fill up while you can!

Tesco is the cheapest here at 1.42 for petrol - but they were out of E10 when I went past, and on the way back they had the cones across the entrance.
Managed to finally fill up at 1.44 as I was on fumes - others in the area range from 1.47 all the way up to 1.54.

Texaco seem to be the worst in a few places.
Diesel , Sudbury Texaco £1.80, Tesco about 1 mile up road £1.67, Sainsbury £1,71

Me and the good lady are around Withernsea at the minute, earlier we past a fuel station and petrol was £1.41 less than 1/4 of a mile down road another station petrol at £1.51
Turns round to the cheaper garage fills up wife pays and comes out with a bar of chocolate saying the saved £2.50.

Suprised today that the two local Sainsburys have dropped prices to 138!
The other locals that normally match their price are at 149-150.

Sainsbury's at London Colney is just round the corner (prob 5 miles or less). I'd think the reserve will get you there and it must be cheaper or stick 5£ in to make sure!

Just paid €2.25 / L for (white) diesel at the local supermarket.

Am holding off making this year's red diesel order for the moment, not because I have any insight into where prices will go, but because I am just too scared to make the phone call...

I could've made it to work (Waltham Abbey) and filled up here but i'd rather just fill it and be done, i'm far more lazy than i am frugal.

I've just bought E10 unleaded from Sainsbury's walthamstow at £143.9 a litre which is an 11pence a litre increase over when I was there the last time about a month go, which I didn't think was too bad. Not many people in there either, over half the pumps were available.

That's strange, the Petrolprices app has it at 132.9 only 8 hours ago.
A fresh delivery, I suppose?

Morrisons 142.9, but Sainsbury is now 143.9
