. Managed to get a good secondhand replacement and was told to follow the flushing techinique as they use needle roller so susceptible to contamination which rollers would just shrug off. The method was with car on axle stands drain gearbox oil before refilling with diesel or paraffin. Then, with engine running, work up and down the gears several times. Drain then refill gearbox with engine oil and work through gears again before final drain and filling with proper gear oil.
