Anyone who calls them selves Mr Tig has got issues. "Iammm Mr Tig "
It's as if he's got to get that put out start/finish of every flick so we know he is the ruler when it comes to Tig welding.
I wouldn't be surprised IF he doesn't promote him self to Dr Tig , professor Tig , maybe just plain old sir Tig.
Again that visually attractive finish is Americans for ya. It seems to take priority over penetration, fusion, dilution, etc. very rarely are such words mentioned.I agree. I hate that sort of thing. To me it sets you up ready to fall.
But thats Americans for you.......self promotion is expected.
He has published some items that are wrong because his viewpoint is "producing a visually nice weld" is the be all and end all. A nice weld may not be the best metallurgically.

Cheers but it was actually AL that said that . I just agreed with it as you do.I'm King tig. You may call me "Your Grace". I won't even take offence at the American remark so you can keep your head... lol (I'm more Israeli now than American. I hope that dosnt apose a problem I watch bbc now and again). I've watched a few of his vids, he's not that bad, but I've seen better. I totally agree with Richard. A pretty weld dosnt make a good weld.
and loads of others probablyYou missed out...
AN AL
They are not cheap but certainly the right filler for the job.I was asked to weld a gearbox bracket back onto an engine. The flywheel departed and smashed a great big hole in the gearbox.
I welded it with fe-ni mma I just made decent tacks along it and beat it with a hammer until it was cold. It went on to win some races and is still being raced.
