The SRBs are the same design used on the shuttle. Some of the main engines are actually refurbished old shuttle engines!

a jets engine isnt refurbed much but its well used per flight

the issue stands between hot engine to super cold on jets in space the issue stands will the jet engine fracture in space due to both extremes

though using the shuttles and the appolo heat proof tiles might be worth considering but we need something replacable whilst wont fracture in those temps for continual firing of the engines

Jet engines don’t work in space, a rocket engine is not a jet. Very different principles.

Having read your link, I think it supports what I was saying. In the
modern world, one billion equates to one thousand million.
