I think if the flat earth has the same mass then it would have similar overall gravity?....but gravity on the surface would behave strangely...so yea gravity is out.
But maybe the flat earth is accelerating thro the universe at a constant rate of acceleration...that would fix the gravity issue.
But that would require some kind of thrust
