Yes I have made this point before about the expense/value for money gifted to NASA on a daily basis and I do mean gifted, as the US gets nothing back for it.
NASA's own Youtube channel has comments turned off, cos millions are not fooled anymore.
All NASA had to do was show live footage of things on Earth moving, this would end the Flat Earth argument period, what did you get a dozen still photo's?

I'd be hypocritical to say I was disappointed with the coverage of the Artimis mission, bcos no one went to space, the Firmament is impenetrable, so it's all CGI, strings & green screens, all the coverage was just eating squeezy bags & gambolling.

I keep telling you the sun & the moon are local lights, not planets of solid matter, use your eyes, you don't need scientists.

If you ask me why would they go to these lengths just to fool us, my thoughts are- it's a test for mankind, there are things they know, but think we're not ready to believe
so we keep testing them with phoney space stuff, when enough of mankind wakeup & call them out, then they will, but until then keep drinking the cool aid.

a serious question here as i know what you do

you have a driver that did a long drive just to take a photo and return its just cost you 1,000 for this to happen

would you be happy in paying for it as i think not

would you pay 10 grand for the same thing to happen because if someone did that to you i suspect you would be gunning for them by any means

artemis is the exact same thing on a different scale a total ripoff for the american people a true insult for them

i wouldnt have minded if they actually landed on the moon itself run some tests while there can we drill into the side of a metorite hole
can we fasten to the sides for solar power to be directed

Wasn’t it a test run for an actual landing attempt? Do you think they actually just went up to take some pictures?

How many Apollo missions were launched before they actually landed on the moon? (The clue would be in the name of mission that first landed)

The word Triage came from the French obviously. But you will find that there is a lot more to treatments now than just debridement tools.
Advances are happening all the time. 90% of soldiers who made it back to Camp Bastion survived.

"But the treatment starts while the air ambulance is still scrambling into action.
American and British troops are now all equipped with tourniquets, so if a colleague loses an arm or leg they can apply pressure to stop the bleeding, long enough to get them onto the helicopters and heading for hospital.
En route they are given blood, often a lot of it. Army medics working in Iraq discovered that if troops were given extra plasma, which contains agents that help blood clot, this almost doubled survival rates.
On arrival at Camp Bastion, casualties are scanned for signs of internal bleeding, in which case surgery can be under way in minutes with teams of doctors working on a single patient.

"Without a doubt people have gone back alive who 5 years ago would not have survived," said Lieutenant Colonel Steve Lord, a consultant in the Emergency Department at Camp Bastion.
Anyone with a suspected internal injury gets a full body scan he explained. "That is something we should consider more of in the NHS."

The new blood protocol, with increased plasma for trauma patients is already being introduced in parts of the NHS.
And the military tourniquets, which can be applied with one hand, are also being used by increasing numbers of ambulance services.
Another technique developed by the military, hand in hand with civilian medics is the use of portable ultrasound.
This is used not only for scans but also for pain control by allowing surgeons to locate and anaesthetise individual nerves.
Ultrasound was itself a product of war, first used by tank engineers in World War Two to detect cracks in armour.
Today it has become a fantastic medical tool, used for everything from scanning pregnant women to looking for cancers."

Go back to the Falklands War - 100% of all CAZ that reached Ajax Bay CCS & FH - set up in a derelict meat processing plant survived, Surgeon-Captain Jolly not only received honours from the UK - including an OBE but also from Argentina.
A&E life saving techniques have been learned from the battlefield, not the other way round. Part of my training was to spend three months in an A&E dept., what was done there was behind the curve compare to some of the stuff the CMT's and 22 FH were doing and developing in Afghan. Most, if not all of the attached/TA medics learned a lot - which was taken back to the UK and is now saving lives of those involved in shootings and gang violence....

One of the big things mentioned above was to push fluids - plasma if no blood available at the scene, even if the CAZ was bleeding out. This saved a lot of lives - Afghan, Arab & Western. Med. packs changed significantly in my time - I still keep a full-sized one in the car, minus fluids & drugs, it's a comfort knowing it's there.

Yes my point exactly. Terrible as they are war often accelerates development that has big benefits in the long run.
