My thoughts too. I am going to fill a couple of jerry cans and keep them in the outside toilet.

Last time round they were puncturing tanks underneath to drain them, so not only lost your fuel, but need a replacement tank too.

I am not sure how they will know you have not filled your tank though?

Whats bugging me now is not the price fuel, its the smug faces of EV drivers at a set of lights next to you.

It isn't bugging me at all, as I sit next to them in my old 04 Combo van. Their depreciation or lease costs way more. Even if diesel is a tenner a litre AND on ration.

Just picked up my new car, was half full so went to top it up, no super at the three garages I went to but two had big queues for what was left and the Sainsbury's one was sold out completely and closed.

That'll be the car parked up now till the wars over.

Just paid 179.9 for Diesel. The fact that it's not 180....amyway, several pumps were closed for Diesel at all the garages I passed and Tesco had run out of diesel apparently.

Just been out, thought I’d top up. Tesco’s Stroud had no diesel, She’ll on the A46, all diesel pumps locked off except 2. joined queue while Mrs popped in to check if there was & was given the ok. £1.85 I think that was, but got to pay it. My son is off on holiday mid April & we have agreed to granny sit for 10 days, will need fuel for that, old dear is 93, so totally reliant on us.

Thats interesting. Do we now refine any. I seem to remember reading we produce the oil but have to send it elsewhere for refining? But I could easily be wrong.

I suspect its time we looked at decoupling locally produced oil from world market prices...

Just filled up at £182.9 for diesel, sainsurys is at 180.9 and the cheapest in town but hasn't had any for 3 days.

If i drive carefully that should see me through to the end of april

I am interested in the detail here - if we as the UK produce or refine heavy oil....?
