Pretty sure that program was filmed around Hurley just along the Thames from Henley , I recognise several of the buildings from when we have stayed there

I have just unloaded this from the car- a 4ft+ metal folder. Home made by a professional welder so it needs a bit of finishing- and some space clearing for its final home. Already have some ideas…

My first dashcam. Just front only, powering it from a wiring adapter that takes power from the auto-dimming rear view mirror so no parking mode as it will turn off with the ignition. I may change that later, but this way it was working 10 mins after opening the box.

What's wrong with the classic crowbar wedged in the ring gear and an impact

I could have done with that earlier in the week , torquing up the flywheel on the husqvarna . I had to grind and drill a little plate and bolt to the engine casing

Remove the spark plug & fill the cylinder with a starter cord or other thin cord till it is as full as you can get it . You'll be able to tighten the flywheel as well as undo it once the piston is up tight on the stuffed in cord .

Received a few items from AE this week, battery mounts for Makita batteries, couple of small tool boxes for a model railway (thinking to mount the track controller and point switch in one) and hose adaptors to connect the recently acquired Makita vacuum cleaner (once cut down) to the also recently acquired on daily price drop Rutlands sander (it wasn't the sander I really wanted as I was waiting for the 300mm sander to be on offer, 2 weeks later the 300mm one was on offer.... I used it for a job straight away and then regretted buying it as I couldn't work out how to store it... I later realised how to store it on a shelf extension).

Friend had forgotten part of their art display stall at a nearby arts/crafts market so I dropped it off for them and got these giant homemade custard creams they got from another stall as a thanks.

Unfortunately I need a bigger mug!

Went to the local yard sale on this morning.
Spotted a band saw, asked the guy and he wanted 100
Only had 50 with me, so asked if he could do a better price.
80 not more than that.
Gave him 30 and went to his house in the afternoon, plugged in it worked so I've gave him the other 50.
It's in the trunk now
400W, belt driven, 3 speeds change pulley set up, asynchronous induction motor, 100mm cutting capacity.
Missing the blade cover and vise handle overall usable.
Pictures whenever possible maybe later tonight but it looks to be one of those

It's green by the way maybe an early 90's model.
Cheap but yet old bit of cast iron.
It should be easy to maintain and if the motor gives up I can replace it fairly easily.
Have to restore it but I think it might be worth

Those are meant to be used for car body work but they have 20tons capacity

It's not a husqvarna chainsaw it's a 150cc TE enduro bike
