One think that really helped me is having a dedicated box for things...so I know for sure if I need some tape and it isn't in the tape box then I need to go buy some!

I've only ever really used it for mousing shackles.
This is what i have been doing this week. I have been sorting the boxes i have already semi sorted but giving what escapes the cull a final resting place.
I have decided to get rid of my large rainyday items which is pricing awkward as I need to photo them and have then accessible if i get buyers. Some of them i can no longer lift due to loosing weight /muscle.
I needed a break last tonight so decided to check out my website which has always been my ultimate goal to complete l but i needed an excuse to use Ai so i used crap bannana and co pilot. More because i dont believe it can do what they claim and i think i am correct.
But hey we finished on a good note tonight (only had
an hour on it tonight)

Those short bundles of swa armour, I keep for painting little things. It's easier to bend hooks on than mig wire. I don't get much of it though...
...edit, sorry, I forgot point of this thread for a moment there. Just scrap the scrap wire! Life's too short and you'll never need it or be able to find it when you do!!

In the space I have, I'm struggling to move. I've erected new s/hand shelving but can't really get to it as a Capri on dollies is quite tight to it.
All I can think is move this Capri sideways which will close the walkway between the other Capri and make that walkway between the two cars tight / unusable.
It's already tight what with two spares or repairs mobility scooters, a moped, an industrial woodwork vac etc.
Then fill the inaccessible shelves with stuff I don't need to get to regularly and then move the Capri back. At that point I MAY be able to get the shell Capri next to the shelves up on a rotisserie which will at least give a feeling of space (until I put it level). However...at that point I should be perhaps able to work on the other, fairly intact Capri and get that running reliably enough to be backed in and out.

Seems to be there is only one thing causing a problem.
"Capri" seems to crop up repeatedly.

In the green belt AONB where I am that's a non starter if I was to go for planning permission.
The best option would be convert / rebuild the old stable block I have at the back of the property as a workshop.

Living in a national park I understand the planning situation. But with out controlling you nemesis of man treasure hording your new converted stable workshop will just end up full as well, and in 18 months there will be a new thread “How do I empty junk out of my garage and stable”
Do you need two broken mobility scooters and a moped? I was collecting stuff I didn't need and have binned it all now. I don't know why I gathered and kept it. I saw potential for it to avoid the scrap pile I suppose or some.i terest in fixing it... but it was stopping me getting to things I wanted to do - in your case, I suspect the want to do is probably your capri(s)

I really don't think so. I've pretty much stopped, after many years of accumulating stuff. Changing jobs means no access to stuff being chucked out. I can say that hand on
. In fact I just managed to used two part rolls of SWA I'd had squirreled away for years, for the new garage supply & the car charger.I have pretty much all the tools I want. Now I'm thinking about projects.
I'm tripping over say the lathe, cut off and bench saws and shop vacs which would go great in a wood / metal workshop. The stable is big enough and then some for that. Trouble is it needs money chucking at it.
I did that.. And filled that one as well. Its quite strange as on Friday i had a real goodday and reduced about 20 boxes to 5 and the rest of the stuff was binned or put in forever homes with labels. But yesterday was no where near as productive some of it was logistics but a lot of it was my mind was not in such a ruthless mood and things i thought could go the day before i thought about keeping the next day. Very weird.
