On the Thor Web Page was a good set of instructions on how to fit the inserts.
We made a tool at MIS to do that, we share it around now.

When I went to Sri Lanka in 1981 they were still using split screen moggies as taxis. The company I was visiting had a Standard Vanguard too, which was actually rather nice to be driven around in!Do they still use them in Bangladesh?

An unexpected £72 refund from Amazon, for an item I still have, which has not been returned or requested.
However the same item, I bought in October. In November they changed the price, 30 quid cheaper, so I bought a second and returned the first, still in unused condition, on the last day of the return window I should add.
I decided the new price was good enough to keep two, so ordered a 3rd, a couple minutes after the return was sent off, which I recieved a couple days after doing the return. So it is impossible that I have mixed up the 3rd pair and the first order.
Its the 3rd one they just refunded me for. I hope they are not going to mess about trying to charge me again for the first one!?!
When I check the first order it shows as in transit, while the 3rd shows as return recieved.

Yes and no!
It's not wood, it's a solid lump of steel with the metal end turned into a dome shape and a mallet face on the other end.
Similar to a journeyman type though, I'll see if Thor answer my question!

Hopefully , some useful information regarding shell - moulding, which could turn out to be a useful foundry technique.

Not today as I've been out of action for a few days with a knackered back, but recently picked up these:
More tat from lidls.
Can't have enough clamps, they seem OK for the price.
Powerbank and a low profile sockets - sockets are OK but dissapointed to find the ratchet bit driver has been changed from the previous version and now has plastic direction selector instead of the original metal one.
New label printer for some jobs coming up:
And a bargain £4.50 shipped ali express shell case for my distance meter, as it came without a pouch.

Another of these excellent lights,this one’s going on the front balcony to help,with picking logs from all the wheelie bins.
Been a few decades since I’ve used this,when I ran v8 Range Rovers,I always flushed prior to an oil change,used to quieten the cam followers. This is for the sprinter,it’s had many years of extremely low mileage.

My local motor factors is having a clear-out so they gave me a freebie “project” xenon timing light when they couldn’t get a new one from their suppliers.
