Have you though of using two bits of equal 25 mm angle iron 1. 2m long and weld simple loops on the ends of the V outer of the vee , so you can put simple cheap ratchets straps through on a top & bottom angle and secure them to a cranked handle or chain then lifting by the handle or chain using a 2x3 baton across your shoulder . Also useful for pulling fence panels up out of H section concrete or recycled plastic posts by hoisting up a long pole fitted with a pulley

Another guide rail to go with the 140cm ones I already have, this time in 80cm flavour. After using the plunge saw to make lots of cuts yesterday I realised that 140cm ones are a bit cumbersome with the smaller cuts so ordered the shorter one. Bonus was the wife told me to order it after knocking the guide rail numerous times after getting it lined up only to have to repeat it again.
Reminds me of the time when I was in Scouts and had the bright idea of putting a rope around a tree branch and standing in a fixed loop on one end whilst pulling the other end to go up...
You can guess how that went by the dent in the grass from my head
Received a nice ~3kg shaft in the mail, 12" of 1.5" en8 for the log splitter hydraulic cylinder mounting.
