Elon Musk couldn't afford the rates I'd want for lugging the gear into a flat to work on a bike.Latest update from the KZ650 owner, he's spotted you do a collection/delivery service so wants you to collect it from his flat
It's nothing new, one of our mob built a chopper in his 6th floor flat and four of us got it down in the lift by removing the forks and making 2 trips

Is that the 3ta?Old modifications coming out, switch wiring returned to original, and a new loom going in.

Id say an early one as its needs the reinforced tank as theres no top tube in the frame, if I had to guess 63 /64…could be a 5TA though. Is that the 3ta?

Do you make your own new looms so you know the quality of them & have a little spare cable at the terminations or buy them inOld modifications coming out, switch wiring returned to original, and a new loom going in.

For most things yes, but for old British stuff no. The off the shelf looms (UK made Lucas) for them are a step up in quality compared to the originals and widely available so it doesn't make sense from the point of cost to the customer. They're also pretty much bang on in terms of length and layout, so the only stuff I have to make will be the bits after the main loom and/or for things which have been added.Do you make your own new looms so you know the quality of them & have a little spare cable at the terminations or buy them in
It looks like we have the same opinion on that!Customer just picked his bike up, talk of man hugs, fist bumps, calling me "Bro". Just say thanks, take your bike and duck off!

I'm going to have to start channelling my inner 'storesman for the '70s' and treat every interaction like a massive inconvenience to be met with the maximum gruffness in the shortest time possible.New line in your T&C's "any physical contact other than a simple handshake is chargeable"![]()
Will you be implementing your new policy before or after the meeting on the 22nd....I'm going to have to start channelling my inner 'storesman for the '70s' and treat every interaction like a massive inconvenience to be met with the maximum gruffness in the shortest time possible.![]()

Don't forget to compare the slip on shoes that look like ladies ones, the short trousers revealing their ankles and the man bag of course.Very much depends on any offers of "man hugs" and any other beastly familiar sort of behaviour.
I had presumed that it would be a gathering of kindred spirits for a few drinks, a laugh and a catch up rather than an opportunity to bond, find your inner child, centre your chi, compare man buns, review beard oils, or any other such bo****ks.![]()
