any concerns regarding eye safety, although I dont think you are going down the budget route which is perfectly acceptable for all the welding your planning doing, as long as there is no light shine paths which I very much doubt so you dont get burnt, a pair of safety specs will stop you or your daughter getting arc eye, (a flash). quite a simple mitigation often ignored or not known.Cheers for the replies,
Being a n00b I generally equate cost/brand with quality/safety. I know bugger all about these things other than I know 3M are decent as i have a couple of respirators for spraying and they have a good reputation. but other than that I know nothing about how they each compare in terms of eye safety or if they are even regulated to standards.
