All was going well...new table frame tacked up, mostly welded out...crouched down to weld underneath one of the joints and my back has given out.
I have spasms occasionally and a perpetual lower back ache from years of being stupid but this is the first time its actually gone completely. Lost feeling in my legs resulting in landing in a heap on the floor, luckily without the upended table coming with me. Feeling came back as soon as i hit the floor, I assume because I straightened out a bit...
Managed to make it back inside to get my phone so now waiting for a lift to a hospital which will inevitably involve 12 hours on a plastic chair to be told the x-ray is fully booked...

ive had full scans done and should have an op but i wont . had a shunt in my van some knob ran in to the back of me at over 30mph and wrote van off . they have sent me for physio 6 visits so far just giving me an exercise chart and a few prods and a rub cream
then a so called specialist doc who pronounced me to be fit and well in a a few weeks time
just go through the motions and get to see the specialist without being fobbed off, tell em about the pins and needles and numbness and also tell em you p.issed yourself and they take it more serious . i was told to go strait in if it happened
