My ability to imply a sense of utter desolation is considerable......A look of being hard done by, having to part with 130 sovs, would be my go to ;-)

Got one pack last week. They weren't priced up though, so didn't know how much they were until I saw the receipt. £3.99. Hence, grabbed a couple more packs today. Daft not to get some, at that price, & if they're owt like the Lidl ones I picked up a year or so ago, they're actually not too shabby.
We used to tie a hanky to an action man and chuck it out window
You learnt the easy way. I used to watch a programme called Ripcord. I’m sure many on here will remember it. I loved the way they strapped a parachute to their back and floated to the ground. I can tell you from the experience of a young child that if you put on an old canvas haversack and jump out of a bedroom window it hurts twice. Once when you hit the ground and the second time when your dad smacks you for landing in his flower bed.I had one of those when I was a nipper, about the same time I also discovered that Airfix model planes do not fly when dropped out of a bedroom window.
Really ! on a welding forum and you bought a ground anchor
Many years ago when I was into skydiving one of my mates had an action man type doll with a parachute , he dropped it at around 2,000 feet after he has opened his canopy . It might have been the highest action man opening? But that just takes the fun out of the "die or survive" question.![]()
Certainly beats mine going out of the bedroom window. Many years ago when I was into skydiving one of my mates had an action man type doll with a parachute , he dropped it at around 2,000 feet after he has opened his canopy . It might have been the highest action man opening?
The insurance companies like known products.Really ! on a welding forum and you bought a ground anchor![]()
A rough looking Bluepoint trolley. I will sand and repaint this gloss black to match my other trolley

Been working on an mvhr install last week...the electrician had one of these that he let me use. Ignoring the scribe bit....the pencil is excellent. Leads are about 3mm thick so handy for marking up thro holes etc. really nice little tool so I had to get one.
Yea my electrician had just the pencil....I think the scribe will be very useful for things like oak flooring. He said that the Amazon generic leads also work with it and they're a lot cheaper than the tracer leadsScrewfix do them at £10 but no refills
