Well, I didn't know that.
But I did know that, though typically for higher load stuff like tumble driers etc in domestic installations. In fact, my first ever compressor was a Craftsman. 240v 6.5 HP 60 gallon vertical tank. Bought it in South Carolina in early 2001 and flew it home in a C130 (perks of the job
)!

Too bad on the Challenger, that would have been a lot of funDifferent job, but similar perks. Although they didn't extend to getting my Dodge Challenger home

PM me his name, I may know him if it was in the 82 - 2000 period. My cousin was a loadmaster on Hercules when he was in the RAF, his record was "smuggling" 3 off road motorbikes to the Falklands to sell![]()
Ooh, that's nice. A chap I used to work for had a regular 190 waaay back and they were a decent piece of kit as I recall.
Nice to see the odd ones actually prove they still can.Eight, possibly nine chick's.
We knew one chicken was laying away from the hen house, but with entertaining the kids during the summer holidays and other stuff, we forgot about it until it was too late.
I found her hiding amongst the nettles yesterday. The missus did a count this morning, difficult as the little chicken nuggets keep moving

I'd have expected that to be the other way round - rust free car from Cali to UK.I hasten to add, I was as bemused as the rest of you as to why the chap for whom I shipped it, wanted it!

'cos it's different.PM me his name, I may know him if it was in the 82 - 2000 period.
I did once manage to ship a Mini Clubman estate to LA in the back of a Herc. And this was after I'd left the Herc fleet for the C17!

Yeah probably.'cos it's different.
Most surprising place I saw a proper Mini was coming towards me in Olympia, Wa, in winter a couple of years ago. Absolutely dwarfed by typical US traffic.
27 yrs ago I was stood in-line in a Subway just of Sepulveda Boulevard in El Segundo, close to LAX, when I heard that distinctive whine of the gears in a proper Mini . . . saw it later in the parking lot - a late version, running on an A-suffix English plate.
Proper machine moving skates too
