We acquired a log burner. Had a little fire last night to cure the paint on it.
I'm not decided if I like the false chimney. I'm tempted to get rid of it and just have a panel of rustic brickwork up the wall. Not sure if the flue stuck up the front of it will look great though.
It might look better once it's plastered and painted to match the room...

It's the only toy she doesn't rip to bits.
The lads fitting it said no problems just to put it along the top of the opening so that's where its going.
