Without sellers there are no buyersShould be protecting sellers from unscrupulous buyers too.
I knew the fee free thing wouldn't last ......... although I am surprised buyers will have to pay.
.....they have lost so many sellers it's unreal.

Wasn't there ebid, or bidpay, or something like that. I tried it years ago and never even got any views.I am a business seller. They choose if you are or not. So we get different benefits etc.
Shop was good when we sold a lot but they used to do 3 top seller ratings with 30% of for the best sellers.
I was involved with Chinese sellers who stitched me up.owing me 40k so when HMRC and Customs and excise asked me for VAT on 1.3 million I willingly gave them all the details I had on the Chinese pair.
The reason they were able to start again was that my account was no good, with my supposed 8% commission, after ebay dropped the 30% Discount.
It also gave a higher ranking to top rated sellers . Similar to the 99p auction styles.
I also had access to an account manager via a mobile phone number.
All long gone now..
I can't see how ebay stay in business and indeed why an alternative has never taken off.

You should have been only charged ~£2.50 in fees, 4% of total + 75p + 0.42% regulatory fee once new system is in place so 0 fees right now, click on transaction fees to expand it and show us what it gives for the breakdown out of curiosity please

I haven't heard that sort of talk for 30 years
If you have a Reedy T shirt in pink for sale I'll take it. As long as it's at least an XL in size ...
Lol. Sorry no mate no pink T shirt.
I do have a strange update from a purchase I made. Something I have not seen before from Royal Mail about an advisory. LolView attachment 480014
I had one of those "running behind"messages for a delivery due on Sat 4th, it turned up today, never had one before.
I have purchased two items from the same seller. And they have shipped the small parcel with yodel and the large one with Parcel Force.![]()

I found this but I'm not sure if it's a genuine one. I have messaged the seller to.
Amazon seem to have opted for the "arrived early" approach. I had two items due on the 5th. They turned up on the 4th.I had one of those "running behind"messages for a delivery due on Sat 4th, it turned up today, never had one before.
My purchases are mainly from Ebay and they usually turn up before the due date, this is the first time I've been notified it will be late.Amazon seem to have opted for the "arrived early" approach. I had two items due on the 5th. They turned up on the 4th.

It's also annoying if you need it next day and you don't have a clue if its going to turn up.Yes I noticed that the past 3 weeks or so also. It's a new thing it seems.
Quite annoying too - if you expect it to come on a Friday say then get a notification the Wednesday or Thursday that it's out for delivery. I can open my gates remotely but sometimes miss the notification and parcel ends up left at the gates all day beside a public footpath
They seemed to have destroyed the high street and now want to stop guaranteed next day delivery.![]()
Nor me but I have noticed many items are now 2 day delivery. But all of them have arrived next day.BUYERS and anti motorist councils did that. I have not as far as I can recall, had one failed next day delivery from Amazon.
