1st pic looks like a bit of sculpture!!

Finished making the motor bracket and securing strut. Next job, make or purchase two pulleys.

Almost finished this desk for my son he designed and was meant to help....

made from 6 old scaffold boards sawn in half planned down and biscuit jointed together

Breaks down into 4 parts to get upstairs as its nearly 100kg

Hopefully something he can keep and be around long after me

Hope you signed & dated it under the top or like a lady friend did with her bespoke dining table , she had everyone who came to her home sign their name & date on the top then after 12 years had a plate glass top cut for it .

Not made, but just been playing with a label printer I got a while ago, but have only just unboxed. A test print, which I'm very tempted to stick on the outside of my flat door.

I'd think seriously about adding in another pulley reduction. in there, or at least make the pulleys swappable so you can get a 1:3 and 3:1 ratio or whatever you fancy.

Just need the mounting holes for the controller boards, then I'll get the panel shoehorned back in the cabinet, and wiring can begin.

You've got a lathe just use that to make them

I've already started. One pulley is now made, including the keyway. All that's left is cutting the grooves for a poly vee belt. I need to decide how many ribs. It would be nice if I could find an online reference giving some guidance.

Dog clamps to go with the sheet lifter beam, the carriage bolt is for alignment, is only 5/16" dia.

Difficult drop zone so I didnt climb this one, but I cut the larger logs. Test of freshly sharpened chain on the grinder yesterday, was cutting well, I made some improvements to grinder recently.

I've not got that far yet. I need to go through my terminal box and see what I've got.

I spent over an hour last night going through RS trying to decide on contactors for the Servo/VFD power control that wouldn't cost too much, and whether I wanted to use 24VDC or 240VAC coils.

Perhaps but its rotten and smells of vomit, so I wouldnt want it as a table top.
