Car Valve cap thread type

Winchgirl bought a very nice set of Valve caps for her car, unfortunately the hole has no thread in it and is too small? So what thread is it and how do I get a tap?

If it's the standard rubber valve it's a weird thread size and the taps have a weird part number.
Something like m7.5 x 32tpi (not a typo)

I had to buy a special tap for this a while back, I can have a look at it when I get home.
Don't remember it being hard to source or particularly expensive though!

I drilled out some mr men pencil toppers enough to glue a standard valve cap in, would that work ?

Standard schrader valves are 8V1 which is 0.305 in x 32 tpi (7.7 x 0.794 mm) could it be a presta valve? 5V2 thread (5.2 X 1.058 mm)

Quality aluminium valve caps actually have a zinc plated metal insert in them for that reason. I have them on my classic Mercedes and no issues at all.

If you are getting solid all aluminium valve caps I suggest you stop buying em off Temu !

Are the caps made of rubber, in which case they might be a push-fit. Photos would help, or a link to an advert for the caps.

Think i had some UHU cheap stuff and it worked ok, but it was plastic on plastic
