I see some thumbwheels in your future.

I've found slow speed & gradual pressure increase to work well. I usually use a bit of WD40 on the piece/wheels.

The socket reminds me - I got a price for a socket for use with a special clamping locking nut - 1124.29 !!! I did check if I had asked for ten off!

Methinks I'll be modifying a standard 88 quid SKF one to fit!

A book...

I've been looking for a copy of this for a few years now, but they kept appearing on second-hand book websites for well north of £100 (there's one on amazon now for £117). Anyway, the saved search on ebay eventually came good and (in true "wait around for ages and two show up at once" spirit), two copies appeared on ebay at the same time, both around the £30 mark. Suffice to say I nabbed one of them straight away.

Was out with a friend today. stopped of at a nice place I know.
They have a good burger van in the car park. With his driving I needed a beer.

But In the shop I found a just fresh in box, a quick look told me there was good things inside.
4 bits of brown paper, with Lizzy 2 face on them were swopped.

Yes I kept the clothes.

Yes they fit.

Looking interesting.

Nice small heater.
A quick look showed me the wick was rotten, but the gears work.

Never used this style before, a twin wick unit.

Valor Heater stove. Good wick, all the parts and even a spare gear wheel, unused.

The following items were all loose in the bottom.

The Draper Multi meter needs a new 9v battery.

The square needs a clean and may be new bluing.


The duck is hollow, so not sure what it was for.

No need to say anything.

A few classic di cast toys, a On off switch, laser for a unknown gun, Mad and de magnetizer and a vintage camera timmer.

Last week I purchased a Lidl chain grinder.

Fixed it to a scrap of wood. Recessed the bolt heads making it easy to clamp down.

Very easy to use. Chain is sharp. £19.99 if I remember correctly.

Very pleased.
