I've got loads of plunger type DTI, some needing TLC, but only one lever type and it's been in the wars a bit and has no glass. So I bought this Verdict DTI from evil bay, looks to work fine and comes with useful ironmongery.
I've also been a very naughty boy, considering I was supposed to be taking it easy on the tool budget.
I bought this little lot from from ArcEurotrade. On the left, the black thing is a small magnetic clamp base which I thought would be useful for DTIs on the Myford. Then some odd sized ER32 collets. I thought i had a full set, that turned out to be ER25 collets. I only had the even number ER32 set so added most of the rest down to 5mm given I now have an ER32 collet chuck for the Myford and the Tom Senior.
Finally, the stud, thrust bearing and handle is what's needed to get a Machifit 250-000 toolpost to fit on the Myford cross slide. The toolpost that @Pete. sent me was a great improvement on the one I had previously but limited me to 8mm tooling, so in a moment of complete and utter boredom while working in London last week, I bought the Machifit gib type toolpost after watching several very complementary YouTube vids.
The toolpost itself may be a few more weeks as I bought 8 tool holders, some 12mm tooling and a clamp style knurler and some isn't available for a couple of weeks.

Still have a soft spot for them after my teens and seeing them at Donnington's 'Monsters of Rock' in '89.
I was at the first MOR 1980, although left after Judas Priest as we couldn't be arsed to wait around for Blackmore to come on!

A bloody big box in the outside toilet
Made me feel a bit better about the stomach cramps and headache I've had for the last two days.
Fair play to PowerToolMate, had the 12" version on order with William Moore since September which was listed as in stock on their website when ordered. Several weeks later nothing, they don't have stock, basically every few weeks I'd have to chase them up to be fobbed off with some new delayed time. Finally gave up, cancelled the order and went somewhere else for a 10" version.
Royally peed me off with their behaviour so I doubt they'll be getting any more orders from me.

My friend lives in Ptuj. There, on Sundays, somewhere nearby, there is a flea market with tools. So far I can’t find the time and cash to add to the collection of interesting pieces of iron. But a friend can accept the package, that's not a problem. What is GER?

Outside bog came with the house but it's an absolute godsend when you're covered with grease or muck as you don't need to go in (1 of 9, there were 10 but I got rid of one to turn that room into gun storage).The outside loo, I didn't think of that! Good idea.

Luckily other half doesn't care about tool purchases, partly because it's a company purchase and partly she did get a stable built with them...

I've wanted a solid steel table (ideally portable) for welding and general bashing of stuff. Limited space meant it needed to be not too big.
With an 8mm steel plate top, and at 760mm x 700mm size, this fits the bill.
Weirdly though it has a tilt mechanism, so the top can be adjusted (a bit). All I can think of, is its to be able to level the top if your on a less than dead flat floor - or is it for something else? Anyone?
