Well after 5 years of work I'm now ready to fit a new staircase but have little idea what I need to do.
It's not just a replacement but a totally new set of stairs turned 180°. This is what I'm replacing!



It's hard to see the extent of the bodgery here in the photos but yes that really is a dog leg in the left handrail that follows the dog leg in the wall, it's due to a 4" roof strut but 3" studwork wall
It's only 16" or 420mm wide at the top. Elbows in and duck or you'll bash you head on the ceiling! The newals at the bottom are only screwed to the floorboards etc.

We've had to fit a new front door to accommodate the stairs as there wasn't enough room to leave a central door.

I've been looking at the Stairbox website and have done a couple of designs but I don't know if I've missed anything on the measurement front!
Has anyone used Stairbox or similar?
It will have a quarter landing at the bottom 1 tread high.
Any help is very welcome here!
