First thing to do if you haven't already is to clean the bed thoroughly.
I wipe mine with IPA after every print & occasionally give it a wash in washing up liquid. I think the best approach depends on what your bed is (mine's the Prusa satin sheet)

3DLAC spray. Believe they may do it in a rub on stick form now. As above too clean the bed between prints and wipe with IPA.i had a few early fails today with the print not sticking to the bed, google suggested glue
With the Anycubic Ultrabase bed here then PLA not sticking just doesn't happen, it's that good. However we've added a borosilicate glass top to the bed so always use 3DLAC now.

Most newcomers will have too much gap.
If you have got a marlin firmware it will have baby stepping. Which means you can adjust the first layer on the fly.

PLA should not need glue! Print at 210/60 and properly levelled on a cleaned platform and it will not let go. Wash the bed with Fairy and hot water, using a nail brush. Rinse in hot water and air dry.
