Actually the other day,we’ve a bumper crop of mushrooms currently,something in the air? I think the left pile are beyond,some grubs have burrowed in.

Simmer the wormy ones after frying in butter till they are black snots then pour boiling water over to make up to 1/4 litre of mushroom flavoring , drain the liqiod add a teaspoon of salt & store in fridge once you had s bit you realized the extra protein of fly eggs & maggots enhances the flavours ..much like maggoty cheeses.

Don't eat too many mushrooms like we did years ago I'd got 50 bags of supposedly spent mushroom compost / sprayed an ounce of dissolved cooking salt in a gallon of water via a watering can over six bags & we were inundated with our fresh cellar grown mushroom .
Both Alison & I had to see the doc about this splitting headache and visual disturbances we'd developed by the Monday morning

I've got a couple of DeWalt knock-off batteries...they're only used for my lamp and the screwdriver.

I think they're ok...but the spec of the cells isn't the same as the original Dewalt. Think DeWalt use special deep cycle cells and there's a difference in how they perform.

Knockoffs seem ok for light duty.

I suspect that these knock off batteries are made from substandard reject batteries hence the slight end outputs and lingivity /

I suspect know that it's all down to the innate dishonesty in the Chinese culture. I worked with Chinese customers for 18 months until I got sick of it.

I've told the story on here before, but I tried getting some of these knock-off batteries direct from the manufacturer, the first question was how many ah do you need, the second was how many ah do you want printed on the side

Just got this to compliment my 12-60Nm Halfords Advanced, a 40-200Nm Norbar torque wrench. It was slightly cheaper than the equivalent Halfords one and then the 15% off code from Zoro made it even cheaper.

Almost certain that Halfords are Norbar made as the only difference is the coloured band and the writing.

An old exercise bicycle. It was sat at the tip in the place where working stuff is left by the public and I'd rapped the wheel with my knuckle as one does. It rings nicely and is heavy so it might be useful for something, maybe a base for a standard lamp.

It'll be interesting to hear your experience. I bought some expensive (£35/pair) gel insoles a few years back, and they were great. They went flat inside the warranty and the supplier swapped them, but they've gone again and of course the warranty is now gone. I bought a pair of £5 ones from eBay and they were utter rubbish. They didn't give any support at all. They didn't look like the ones you have there, so I'd be grateful if you could let me know what you think of them before I just give up and pay the price for ones I know are good.

Lidl and Aldi both sold decent gel insoles in their specials. Whether, and when, they will again is anybody's guess.

Bought the Lidl cordless nibbler and two 4Ah battery's plus fast double charger today...we have a roof job in Cheshire needs starting next Monday and need to cut up all this scrap lead to manageable sections to enable easy entry into the scrap yard

Tbh it goes through lead like butter and anything after this job if the tool is still alive is a bonus..seems a well made bit of kit and nice heavy battery's which is reassuring
