An EICR has flagged up a lack of RCD protection on a board. Board is plastic and probably pointless trying to obtain RCBOs for it, so may as well fit a new board.

There's some minor bits to attend to elsewhere which i'll sort and I may as well fit the board. A proper spark will check, test and sign off.

I was looking at buying the bits below. That should be it? RCBOs are different values, but i've just added four the same to the basket for pricing purposes.
Spark says don't bother with AFDD or SPD.

£90 ish for a populated board seems reasonable.

Edit - Add some grommet strip around the opening in the back of the board as well as some intumescent mastic...and some DNO fuse seals....

There's no need for intumescent mastic, it will only annoy you next time you want to put a cable in there.

SPD is worth considering, they are relatively cheap compared to the amount of electronics they could protect.

If you are replacing the tails go for the 19strand 'flexi' tails, they are much easier to work with!

True, adds about £30 for a SPD. Tails are existing so i'll have to deal with whats there.

Are the existing tails the correct size, older ones have been known to be small

They are 25mm tails.

a bit of 16mm earthwire from main electricity boards earth to db unless its a tt supply or allready have it

These are quite nice to keep the tails tidy and fixed in place.

Unless a (documented) assessment deems them unecessary which domestic sparks are doing to keep costs down in today's competitive market. Although, as mentioned, there are so many electronic devices in homes these days it's worth fitting them.

Worth putting an REC2 up front after the meter. You put the old tails into that. New tails come out of the REC2.

Any suitably rated switch can be used for this, it doesn't have to specifically be wylex!

I'd venture the tail clamping detail of the REC2 is second to none and why it's been the goto for years.

Probably just room to squeeze a switch in.
Double fuse in the service head so probably a solid link in there.

A firm I worked at supplied Proteus isolators, unsurprisingly they were only fitted when very necessary

the mem ones the leccy board were fitting years ago wernt much better along with there fitters ive seen loads burnt out
