Right Mr MB delivered my donkey saw yesterday.
Before I start using it I was thinking it needs a switch of someking to make it safer and easier to use. Would one use a DOL starter or just a rotary on off switch?
Also how easy is it to fit a microswitch to stop the motor upon finishing a cut?
I am new to these old saws.
It does have a couple of mods already which have been removed.
I want to refit the weighted rail to the top of the bow, really tink that was a great idea to add weight to speed up the cut, saves leaning on the thing whilst rinking tea! or beer!
