I fixed my MacBook. It’s 9y old I think now, the battery swelled so much it deformed the case and I couldn’t close my laptop. So I ordered new battery and keyboard because the caps lock key stopped working.

I bought my daughter a Mac when we lived in the Philippines. Its probably 9 years old now, as well. 3 years ago it had some issue and I went to the Apple shop in Brum, asked about getting it fixed, and the nice man told me it should have had the factory recall new screen fitted. He sent it away and it had a new main board, keyboard, screen, top cover and battery. I had to pay £150 for the battery, but we basically got a new Mac back off them.

I bought her a new one 18 months ago and it has recently developed the flickering light bar disease, so I shall probably take that to Brim and ask them to fix it, for free.

I installed the heads on the Chevy that's been in bits for a couple of years. New gasket set from real Steel, delivered in less than 24 hours after ordering on the phone.

I have two intakes, one came with the motor, one is, apparently, a quite rare early Corvette intake. Not sure which one to use.

I was going to buy an. We mac but I heard so many issues with that top bar, I see they’ve resorted back now though. I’ll probably buy a new one later this year. I need bigger storage than what I have. Otherwise my mac would be fine.

I have no idea actually. With 350 horsepower on tap I doubt I could tell the difference myself.

Today among other things I tackled a rather beaten up ArcGen Weldmaker 165 SP1. Cracked chassis on every corner, broken exhaust, broken exhaust mounting framework. What a sod of a thing to work on.
The revised MK2 and later variants have a much more sensible casing which allows better access.

Both products come from the same part of the world but are made by different manufacturers. Very similar design philosophy. ArcGen is a UK brand name and they are called Denyo in Japan, Shindaiwa use the same name here and abroad.

I’ve seen a very rubbish manifold of the same model on US Ebay, going for $265, but it had been welded, poorly, and said it needed refinishing.

I might even pop it on U.K. Ebay and see if there’s any interest. I think it’s free for small stuff.

Just for a laugh I had a look on the site. There were 8,931 listings for used LR parts and only one seller on the front page had the details required
