Love that colourI got all the masking tape off today and un-plugged all the holes. Got a couple of bits assembled. Cleaning up or replacing all the fasteners is time-consuming but it has to be done.
I have changed all of the chewed-up 12mm nuts for some nice brass ones I had squirreled away. Looks nicer than modern plated nuts and they won't rust.

Tomorrow I will assemble the dividing head and possibly the high-speed milling head too.
I take it you don't have young grandkids...lolGot 14 bits in primer. Needs a couple of touch-ups and a flat-down with scotchbrite which I will do this evening then I will probably put the top coat on tomorrow. It's not a first-class job by any means but I'm satisfied with it. It's just a machine, after all.
