Suizan Dozuki saw arrived yesterday, got a chance to use it this morning - and show my woodworking class the differences between Western and Japanese saws and planes. I'm very impressed with it!

They'd normally be my default (have been for years with the woodturning I do) and I had a look but between them and Rutlands they didn't have what I wanted; the saw I bought was from Amazon and was the one that the chap mentions in his video - was out of stock on Amazon US but in stock in the UK. Besides, it is my Christmas present from my sister... she bought herself some shoes as my present to her; she's five hundred miles away so easier all round.

Good luck with being able to buy enough paracetamol or ibuprofen to do anything more than make yourself sick; they can only sell you two wee boxes of either.
