Seriously though it looks like it's got the makings of a good touring machine. Only reason I don't buy that style of bike is because the bar mirrors are the same height as your average builder's van's mirrors. Since most of my riding is filtering in heavy traffic I'd spend more time either stopped or trying to wiggle past motors without clattering mirrors than actually moving. My R1100s mirrors just clear under most van mirrors and over most cars. SUV's excepted.
A few years ago when the Charlie&Ewan fans all bought themselves BMW GS's they were a royal PITA to get stuck behind on the morning commute.

With all the technological dodads available today, I'm surprised some bike's don't have rear view cameras and a monitor screen on them; or do they ?Wide loads have wing mirrors too y'know

Road trip today, to acquire a Colchester adjustable height work table. Just a couple of minor issues. The cranking mechanism is a little stiff, and needs a new extension cord for the 240v receptacle. I cleaned a couple of spots with some solvent, and the paint underneath on the base looks good, but I'll probably paint the whole thing anyway; not my favourite green though.

Except for when you do the left-right shuffle at speed to make your bars clear their wing mirrors and end up slamming a box into their door

Some have radar for adaptive cruise control and I have seen mention of blind spot sensors. Not seen any rear view cameras as standard but you do get aftermarket dashcam type cameras that connect front and rear cameras and you also 360 degree cameras although they record but possibly they also display on your smart phone.

A.K.A. Pi**ing other motorists off by over or undertaking when you should be obeying the rules of the road . ( You'll have to point out where such a maneuver is allowed in the highway code or the traffic instruments ) .
