You do realise that lock down is over and the shops are open ? LolPretty sure I ran out of beer over the summer....
Dont really like beer tbh. One of those things I drank in my teens because everyone else did. Don't see the point now. Quite partial to a shandy though. You do realise that lock down is over and the shops are open ? Lol
No qualms using one of these.I made a couple of these a few years ago out of 1" marine ply using the solid disc style cutter.

'Fun' messy and splintery but I felt it was safe to use. Leather apron and facecshield worn though.
You can make surprisingly fine cuts in decent timber.
But an accident would be be a good one.
That arbortech thing is not a new idea I have a version must be 50 yrs old with blades you can sharpen. Beast of a thing.
“I can’t stress enough how dangerous these are”, so I’m just gonna use it without a guard. This chap is my latest obsession. Won't be too long before I have watched all his vids. They are excellent. This is his take on chainsaw disks and I really rate his info.
Having said that, I did buy myself a chainsaw adapter some time ago. It's still sitting there in its box, I haven't worked up the courage to use it. In all honesty, I only bought it because it was pennies and looked cool but now I come to think about actually using it - well, I need to think of a safe way to use it.
Frankly, I don't think there is one!

I think if the rim of the disc has teeth, then it should be in a saw not a grinder.Whats the opinion on saw discs, lots of choice from 3 tooth like this
These look fun but all 16mm bore. Fits mini grinders?
