I add the sugar later, maybe one or two years, after I have tasted it. Some years the sloes don't need as much sugar and then it tastes a bit syrupy.
Is that the new shed that you were building?

At last i have finished the lathe cabinet, but for sitting on its own legs as the crane outriggers are to high to drop it down on the deck and also to long.

WIP glue up today of a fairy house I’m making with the big one (9). Good job fairies can fly as my patience would run out at miniature staircases.
She mostly beat the copper roof into shape herself round the anvil, after a bit of practise.
