Not strictly today, mounted the gate and made the side panel today, still need to cap of the post and make it longer after I made a little boo boo,
make the side panel support posts that it will be bolted to, decide what lock to go with and then ship it for galve and powdercoat

I add the sugar later, maybe one or two years, after I have tasted it. Some years the sloes don't need as much sugar and then it tastes a bit syrupy.

Still am, the panelling is left, but I am not doing any more work until spring.
Last weekend's project. Having got a Eurohitch quick hitch on the little tractor, I now need some implements. First up, a bucket whcih is wider than the original.As always, a second hadn one came up just after I ordered the steel folding, but nevermind.
The steel folders got a measurement wrong so I had to cut down and reweld the shell, but it came out ok. Ends are 5mm, shell is 4mm. The wear edge and strips are just mild steel rather than Hardox, but by the time they wear out, I doubt I will care, and there is always hardfacing rod.

That is a good shout actually, I dont make it every year but the last time I made it it was actually too sweet for my liking.
Next batch I will do that just need to find something to make it in. I am worried about using anything other than glass, maybe I will just use the bottles the gin comes in.
Nice job on the lathe cabinet but why is the outer sheath stripped on the cable going into the 13a plug on the vfd?

A piece of internaled U channel, heat tweaked, glued to a bent flat piece and started blending in the lava.
I used the U so I didn't have to do an internal blend
