I call my girlfriend my partner because a) we might as well be married, we've 2 kids together, own a house together and have been together 6+ years now, and b) I feel like a 15yr old when I say girlfriend, she's a woman not a girl, so partner fits the bill just right.That's one I'm going to have to add to the "Things that bug you" thread.

After 27yrs of having Type 1 diabetes I've finally taken the plunge and caught up with modern medical technology...
It's a Libre2 sensor that'll stay on for two weeks and communicate, using NFC (and Bluetooth for low/high blood sugar level alarms), with my phone. I've only had it on since 0930 and can already see the benefits.
Glad I'm in Scotland as NHS Scotland is very generous with free prescriptions; sensor is circa £50 but I won't be using the test strips I'd otherwise be using.

Today I was let loose in the toy store and acquired some welding gear.
Three rolls of .8, two small rolls of .6, two packets of 6013`s in 3.25mm/4mm, packet of .8 tips, mig regulator with flow meter, some shades and a pack of ten rigger gloves . Also got a 48 pack of blue rolls off the bay of thieves.

I saw that and I knew what it was right away. My granddaughter's boyfriend has one fitted, he's only 17 but had a failed pancreas. He's just recently started to gain the feeling back in his fingertips which he hasn't had for a long time because of having to do countless blood-prick tests in them. It's a big deal for him as you can imagine.

If they pay postage - yes. If not then it may be cheaper to chuck it in the bin / repurpose.

. I do hear it is worthwhile stripping them down to ensure they have the swarf / dust cleaned out at the manufacturers.

Its a lot cheaper to buy another and bin it than a new spindle. It doesnt look good but its more a question if short tapers can damage the bore by raising a burr where they end. Or not a problem?
It doesnt help that this was not ground concentric to the blank so part of the end was sharp corner and needed deburring.
