Yeah it’s great. My normal book of choice is my Zeus book but this will probably overtake it.That black book is really handy. Mines all dog eared, gets daily use. They are under rated I think

I suspect few people will notice.
Filling tyres with N2 started in the aerospace industry where amongst other preceived benefits, it helps to reduce the risk of landing gear bay fires gaining momentum in the event of a tyre failure.
The use of N2 in car tyres is, in my opinion, a pointless exercise.

Test fit.. and roughtly aligned in photo for where they sit in the spindle. The mt3 is not the correct length. I can imagine this marking the spindle and rasing a burr where the mt3 ends too short.
Should I send this back?

I really like the engineer's black book. I keep a copy of the Presto Counsellor in my pocket as well (it's a lot smaller than the Engineer's Black book and better, in my opinion, than Zeus). Presto Counsellor PDF is here; I can't remember where I got the printed and bound version from.

A new Chronos 160mm D1-3 Chuck for my Harrison, looks well made, I will clock it later. (The seller of the Harrison lathe I bought could not find the second set of jaws for the chronos 3 jaw fitted to the lathe, so gave me a refund on the chuck to buy a new one)

Mine just turned up too . . . dropped out the box when I cut the black covering, narrowly missing my slipper clad feet (joys of home working) . . .

3" round/hexagon. You won't be able to grip 4"/100mm round pipe or hexagon nut with "shallow" jaws.
