Why do you need so many tungstens?
As I think I made explicitly clear in my original post I made the original device as an example to others, others that just might perhaps contaminate their tungsten through poor technique and shaky hands, to show just what could be done so I thought I'd follow up with this simpler alternative. My generosity and selflessness knows no bounds, see?
I never, ever, dip and contaminate my tungsten when TIG welding - obvs. In fact there's actually only one actually tungsten in there - the rest are bits of 2.4mm stainless filler cut to random lengths and a wee bit of Sharpie at the end for realism.
