Add for those that don't know ........ the volatile oils from bees wax are highly flammable & at hotter than boiling water temps can/will self ignite , use a non flame heat source such as an electric hot plate & a Bain Marie set up and don't leave it unattended for any reason unless you turn the heat off and move the containers to a cooler surface out of strong sunlight .^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That's not all the wax from 2 hives, just some of it.

If you melt good newish wax or are uncapping sealed stores on a warm day over 50 oC, a gentle soft breeze & with the room's windows & doors open you might get zillions of bees coming to investigate the honey & oil scents released ....
