A true Yorkshireman is born without any generosity that can be removed surgically or otherwise. :-)As a Yorkshiremen (I was born just 1/2mile from the Elland Road ground of top-flight football club Leeds United ) I can explain with confidence that a Yorkshireman is simply a Scot who has had his generosity surgically removed!
I've been using small (5L) ultrasonics at work for decades and I own a 5L Ultrawave unit, which is getting on now, but still works well. It's often used to clean stainless steel test specimens used in corrosion tests, for which we use Decon 90 cleaner, which is alkaline. I've just cleaned a small mower carb and I bought some carb cleaner from Allendale and was quite please with that, but it does take a little effort to completely rinse it off at the end of cleaning.
Ultrawave are good, but a bit on the expensive side for the occasional user.
Allendale fluid needs to be heated from 50 - 80 degrees centigrade to work. On the larger tanks, this can take quite some time. We offer a low temperature fluid that works at a maximum of 40 degrees centigrade.
